What is ComingtoKnowTheLordJesusChrist.com for? This website is designed for two kinds of people. This site is for those who know the Lord Jesus Christ already but have an inward aching where they know they are growing spiritually. This is for people that can sense the system of Christianity around them has something wrong. They can tell that some sort of hindrance exists in their relationship with God. If you are sincere in your seeking Jesus Christ as your Lord, and going on further with Him, this purpose of this site is to help you! 

If you are somebody that does not consider themselves a Christian but has an ache to figure out what life is all about and what is your purpose for existence. You have decided to consider the relevance of Jesus Christ and the Bible. Similarly, you might have once considered yourself to be a Christian but inwardly you know that you are not. Yet you realize or at least suspect that the Bible is true and Jesus Christ is the answer. Maybe you are looking to wade through all the error and figure out how you can become a genuine Christian. If this profile of person fits you, then this site is also for helping you!

About the Author

My name is Jason Laverman. I grew up always knowing about Jesus Christ and the Bible. Growing up, I went to Church almost every week. I had always presumed myself to be a Christian. Life had gotten better and I was about to have my first child. I was grateful and so decided that I should buckle down and become a better Christian. As I started seeking how to become a “better Christian” I had the inward sense that something was wrong. As I sought harder after Jesus, I thought back to the times that I heard people give such powerful testimonies for becoming a Christian. I realized they had something that I didn’t. Finally, one night after a Church leadership conference I stayed up all night praying and meditating and came to know the Lord Jesus Christ in a real living way.

The Lord began to impress upon me that I should write a book about my testimony in coming to know Him and the lessons I’ve learned along the way. I was reluctant for a while. I figured that such an endeavor might stir up Satan and his hosts against me. I did decide that I would write such a book. I would say that it did rile up Satan and his hosts against me. My book “Coming to Know the Lord Jesus Christ” is my testimony of coming to know Jesus and what I’ve learned since. This book covers in detail and open honesty the story of my life in the Christian journey. If you are of one of the two people groups described above, I recommend that you buy, read, and heed the advice of this book. It will be very useful for you! If you are not of one of these two groups you are still welcome to buy my book. I’m not going to beg you to get it. I’m not looking to get rich or famous. I’m merely looking to do what God has called me to do. I’m seeking to help those that He wants me to help. You can purchase this book at these retailers.

I also have a blog page where I will look to make a devotional type of post around once a month. I’ll write about any further experiences in life that might be of benefit to others.
